Position Summary

Linkwave is looking for an RF Technician to join our team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cutting-edge communication systems. You will work with advanced RF equipment, troubleshoot complex issues, and contribute to the innovation and excellence that drive our success.
Key Responsibilities
Analyzing Commercial Requirements
- Performing site surveys
- Assist in designing RF coverage solutions for in-building locations (Malls, Underground, Stores, public avenue, etc.)
- Installation project management and technical oversight
Commissioning and Troubleshooting the Distributed Antenna System
- Optimization, troubleshooting and adjustment of new in-building systems to meet design criteria
- Perform checks and verifications to ensure optimal performance
- Review and test every electronic component, cable connection, and signal pathway to ensure seamless transmission across the DAS network
Supporting Team Members
- Support with providing valuable technical information for landlord design approval
- Working closely with other Engineering and Operations team members related to in-building projects and provide support where required
Ad-hoc Tasks
- Updating and reporting project status at weekly basis
- Perform, record, collect and organize all data and documentation

Knowledge Requirements
To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technologist program or equivalent
- DAS System training/certification for: any of the DAS OEM platforms: TE, Mobile Access, SOLiD, CommScope.
- Training/certification for CDMA, GSM, UMTS, LTE
- Fundamental understanding of the physics behind RF wave propagation theory
- Ability to apply logarithmic RF math concepts to perform power link budget calculations, and compare different products via their technical specifications
- Ability to use basic office applications, including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook/Email, Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent customer interface skills with a teamwork mentality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Innovative and open minded to new techniques and technologies
- Attitude-focused on team success and improving the customer experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed for work-related tasks
- Possession of a valid G class driver's license in good standing
- iBwave training/experience is an asset
